This Privacy Policy explains how Print Platform LLC (“MGZN,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use printmgzn.com, app.printmgzn.com, comics.printmgzn.com, the MGZN apps, and any related products or services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information. Your name, email address, mobile phone number, password or sign-in credentials, and the settings you choose.
Content you create. Stories, voice recordings, transcripts, photos, comics, captions, and any other material you or contributors you invite put into an issue or a comic.
Order and delivery information. Shipping names and addresses, order history, and print specifications. Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processor (Stripe) and are not stored on our servers.
Contributor and recipient information. When you invite someone to contribute to an issue or send a printed item to someone, we collect the name, email address, phone number, or mailing address you provide for that person.
Technical information. Device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, and similar log data collected automatically when you use the Services.
2. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To produce, print, ship, and deliver your magazines and comics.
- To generate and edit content you request, including transcription, editing, layout, and image generation performed by AI service providers acting on our behalf.
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and account notices.
- To respond to support requests.
- To send marketing messages you have separately agreed to receive.
- To detect fraud and abuse, secure the Services, and comply with law.
3. SMS and text messaging
Consent. You opt in to text messages from MGZN by entering your mobile number on an MGZN sign-in page and checking the unchecked consent box next to it. The box states what we will send. We do not enroll anyone by texting a keyword to our number, and consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Message types. Notifications about something you made on MGZN. Today that is one message: a text telling you the comic you created has finished and is ready for your review, with a link to it. We do not send marketing text messages. One-time sign-in codes are sent by our authentication provider when you choose to sign in by phone and are separate from these notifications.
Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your activity, typically one message for each comic you create. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to cancel; you will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or contact hello@printmgzn.com. You can also turn off the notification for any comic with the “Notify me when it’s ready” checkbox while it is being drawn.
No sharing of SMS consent. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent collected for text messaging are not sold, rented, shared with, or transferred to any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with our messaging service providers to the extent needed to deliver the messages you have agreed to receive.
Contributor invitations. If an MGZN user invites you to take part in a story by entering your phone number, you will receive an invitation on that user’s behalf and, if you take part, messages about that story only, such as a follow-up question or a note that your part is ready to review. Reply STOP to any of them to receive no more.
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the Services:
- Service providers that host data, process payments, send email and text messages, transcribe and generate content, and print and ship physical products. Each provider is permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.
- Contributors and recipients. Content in an issue or comic is visible to the people you invite to it or send it to.
- Legal reasons. To comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of MGZN, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Your content
Your content belongs to you. We use it only to provide the Services you request. We do not use your stories, recordings, or photos to train AI models, and we contractually require our AI providers not to train on your content.
6. Data retention
We keep account information and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, and comply with law. You may delete your account or request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@printmgzn.com. Order records may be retained as required for tax and accounting purposes.
7. Your choices and rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your information by contacting hello@printmgzn.com. You may opt out of marketing email through the unsubscribe link in any message and out of text messages by replying STOP. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law, including the Colorado Privacy Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act. We honor these requests and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be announced through the Services or by email.
